"Last Call" for the first-time boat missers

First, we would like to, in an act of good will and peace, point out the great traits we have learned (through publicly displayed writings) about Kari. She appears to be spiritually inspired, strong, brave, a good friend, optimistic, fun loving, family oriented, greatly loved and esthetically very cute.

However, we feel that we must once again accentuate the point that brought us here to this blog: She lied (or rather for the faint of heart), kept the truth from Brandon about the birth of their son. That act is why we dared use the words "immature" and "revenge". That (the act of keeping their son to herself) is where the reference developed. Nearly all of the "pro-Kari" comments from her blog have conveniently overlooked this life changing detail. (Or at least did, prior to being erased, which we wholeheartedly agree was probably necessary.) If we had a virtual crayon and a piece of paper, we'd draw them (the commenters) a picture of this detail, in hopes that at some point, one of them would realize that no one is disputing whether or not adoption was the right choice, whether or not Kari and Brandon should have stayed married, whether or not this was a hard choice, whether or not this has been difficult for them, whether or not Kari picked a good family for their baby, whether or not Kari and Brandon are good people, whether or not the "male species" is inferior, whether or not it is constitutional to comment on a public blog (Krissandra), whether or not someone is a man or a woman, and every other comment (which was nearly all of them) that totally and completely missed the boat in a hurried and grammatically immature defense to Kari. Perhaps nearly everyone in Kari's defense had emotions so heightened that they couldn't write in a straight line. Whatever the case, they were not logical (and overly defensive).

As for "Cannon Family", we found her comment to be fair, obviously proofread (for a change) and enlightening. We feel it is inevitable that Brandon (and Kari) learned significantly from their experience.

Krissandra, please review this post as a reference to your posted question. The answer is included and your name is in parentheses for your convenience.

As for the comment from the Juicy Fruit Factory of "I doubt anyone is as strong"... blah, blah, blah... We believe that is all subjective and objective. No one has disputed Kari or anyone else's strength. Once again, please review this post and all comments for any reference to anyone's lack of strength. We believe that the forgiveness comment is appropriate (and was in no way offensive). It did not indicate whether or not she believed Kari and/or her family had forgiven (trespasses), just simply stated that they personally had forgiven (trespasses). We don't think it would be a stretch to say that in such a difficult situation, anyone escaped unscathed or spotless. So we must re-iterate that the "offering of forgiveness" comment is relevant. And the beauty of forgiveness is that once offered it does not have to be accepted or returned to be valid and beautiful.

A Gift of Love

Adoption is one of the single most
beautiful gifts that any two people can
give, not just to the receiving family, but particularly to the innocent child.
We don't think anyone can dispute that. It has recently come to our attention a heart wrenching story of one broken family that made this incredibly difficlut journey. Although they each had a seperate journey and seperate stories, they both had the same goal; to give their baby the best. And in this situation, "the best", was a complete family, with a mom and a dad.
After reading the blog of the birth mother, Kari, it became VERY clear that adoption was the best choice for this baby. We are glad that she was able to recognize her immaturity and realize that she indeed was not mature enough to raise this baby and give him "the best". We were disgusted to read her words, as she expressed her glee in the deprivation she was able to inflict upon the birth father. At times her blog sounds more like a story of revenge unfolding instead of the true beauty and nature of the gift and journey of adoption. Our hearts broke for the time she stole from the father, all in the name of revenge. No one has disputed whether or not adoption was the right choice, but rather it is ethical to use an innocent creation of God's to hurt another. As you can clearly see on the giving father's face, his soul cries for the time that was stolen from him that can NEVER be replaced.
